If there is traffic and some interruption, then it might take longer, so check the situation of road conditions before travelling.
Also, remember that there is no direct bus from Kathmandu to Chame. Also, the road conditions from Besisahar are worse due to the off-road. If you take a local bus from Kathmandu to Besisahar then you need to again hire the private jeep.
