As we know climbing Mount Everest is not a piece of cake for everyone, as it is very time-consuming, physically demanding, and very costly. For those looking for a second option, Island Peak climbing can be the perfect alternative for adventure lovers and mountaineering enthusiasts.
The EBC with Island Peak Climbing, is far from a normal trek or a peak climbing. The trek allows one to explore the superior Mt.Everest (8848m). Our itinerary will help you throughout the whole trek and assist you with every dos and don’ts making sure you have a tension-free tour around the Himalayas.
The peak climbing will also allow trekkers to experience the renowned Sagarmatha National Park which is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Along the way, you’ll see rich Sherpa culture as you will see Tibetan Monasteries like the Tengboche Monastery. The journey will take you through many villages and places like Namche, Tengboche, Dingboche, Gorekshep, Everest Base Camp, and Chhukung.
If one has experience in hiking or trekking, this can be a plus point during the trek as the trip is not as easy as the other popular treks. Altitude sickness on the other hand can be a problem that can affect your health along with the trek.
The trek will start with a scenic flight to Lukla followed by a hike to Phakding. Likewise, the trek will end with a return flight to Kathmandu as we bid farewell to our fellow trekker who chose us for the trek.
