The national park Area, with its remote geographical conditions and extremely cold climate, has led to the loss of foreign tourists, accidents, and even deaths, the data showed. Also, since the absence of a trekking guide accompanying the tourists makes it difficult to provide timely treatment and rescue to the tourists, the rule has been implemented to ensure the safety of domestic and foreign tourists.

From Feb 5, 2025, all trekkers visiting the Langtang Valley must abide by the following regulations:
