Best Time For Annapurna Circuit Trek via Thorong La High

The climate in the mountain season is according to the seasons and each season offers its own unique beauty and challenge to the trekkers. While heading for the trip travellers need to know in which season they are travelling. It will help you to understand what you can expect in different seasons and how to prepare accordingly.

Summer(June to August) and Autumn(September to November) seasons are known as the ideal time for trekking or we also can say the best time to trek. It is because during the spring and the autumn seasons, the weather is stable, with long sunlight hours, and moderate temperature for trekking.

Also during this month the clear view of the sky and less chance of rainfall makes for good visibility of the mountain peaks. The beautiful landscape and blooming of flowers in the spring and leaves turning yellow during autumn make the trail path more beautiful.

Trekking in the winter and summer is also possible. But due to risk factors like heavy snowfall, heavy rainfall, chance of avalanches, and slippery and muddy trail paths, we suggest you avoid trekking during this month.
